Party Search
Party Search is the in-game party matching board: instead of spamming the chat, a party master advertises his party and everyone else browses the list and joins with one click. Parties hold up to 5 characters, and the whole thing lives on the P window.
Party Search Settings [P] — tick Active System to list your party, then set who may join.
The list shows each party's master, its map and how full it is (1/5) — Join takes you straight in.

Open the window with P. On your own, ticking Active System creates a party with you as its master.

Set Max Level, a password and the restrictions you want, then confirm with OK — only the party master can change these.

Your party appears in everyone's list and is announced server-wide as "looking for members" (once every 5 minutes at most).

Others hit Refresh, pick your party and press Join — with a password set, they type it into the Pwd field first.
What you can require
Max Level — a ceiling on a joiner's character level; master levels are not counted. Leave it at 0 for no limit.
Password — up to 10 characters; only players who type it can join, so you can hold spots for friends.
Only Guild — restricts the party to your own guild.
Only Alliance — opens it to your whole guild alliance.
Only One Class — each base class may appear only once, for a balanced group.
Allowed Classes — tick the classes you need (Wizard, Knight, Elf, Gladiator, Dark Lord, Summoner, Fighter). None ticked means any class.
Why a join can be refused
The party already has 5 members.
Wrong password.
The joiner's character level is above the party's Max Level.
The server-wide level gap rule: a joiner's character level has to stay within 150 levels of every current member's.
That class isn't in the Allowed Classes list, or its slot is taken with Only One Class on.
Parties are off during events that don't allow them, and on the TvT battle map.
Auto Party: Auto-accepting invites is a separate switch from the listing — the Auto Party chip next to the radar, the /autoparty command and the MU Helper's Other Settings tab all flip the same thing. Leave it on and invites within your level range are taken without a confirmation box.
